Причиной критики стала медленная реакция на серьезный игровой баг, связанный с возможностью выкупа (buyback) у героя Doom. На третьей карте этой игры керри игрок команды Aurora Gaming столкнулся с багом: несмотря на достаточное количество золота, он не смог использовать байбек. Как выяснилось, эта техническая ошибка связана с аспектом Devil`s Bargain для героя Doom, который увеличивает стандартную стоимость выкупа на 20%.
После продолжительной технической паузы, вызванной данной ситуацией, команда Aurora Gaming была вынуждена согласиться на техническое поражение. Вследствие этого команда, в составе которой играет Егор “Nightfall” Григоренко, переместилась в нижнюю сетку турнира.

Renowned Dota 2 streamer Bogdan Vasilenko, known as Iceberg, sharply criticized developers Valve and tournament organizers PGL. The reason for the criticism was their slow reaction to a significant game bug related to the buyback ability of the hero Doom. On the third map of this game, the carry player for Aurora Gaming encountered a bug: despite having sufficient gold, he was unable to use buyback. It was later discovered that this technical error is related to the Devil`s Bargain facet for the hero Doom, which increases the standard buyback cost by 20%.
Following a prolonged technical pause caused by this situation, the Aurora Gaming team was forced to accept a technical loss. As a result, the team featuring Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko was moved to the lower bracket of the tournament.
