Dota 2 streamer Igor `iLTW` Filatov recently defended Aurora Gaming`s offlaner, Aleksandr `TORONTOTOKYO` Khertek, addressing criticism from viewers about his performance in the new role.
Responding to a chat comment suggesting another player was comparable to TORONTOTOKYO, iLTW stated passionately:
“How wrong you are. I`m telling you, you are so wrong, my friend. Guys, TORONTOTOKYO, I repeat, plays Dota incredibly well, he plays phenomenally. You are speaking complete nonsense. You are listening to people who play Dota badly. TORONTOTOKYO is an outstanding player, a very strong player.”
TORONTOTOKYO transitioned to the offlane position (position 3) when the current Aurora Gaming roster was formed. His career includes winning The International 10 (2021) as a midlaner for Team Spirit and later playing as a support for BetBoom Team. The player has often faced criticism after these role switches. However, his performance in the offlane has also drawn praise from fellow players like Roman `RAMZES666` Kushnarev and Artem `Fng` Barshak.
