IShowSpeed Swatted at KFC: Caller Falsely Claims Streamer Had Gun and Climbed Counter

Streamer Darren `IShowSpeed` Watkins Jr. was targeted by swatting yet again, but this incident occurred at a KFC restaurant during a live stream on YouTube.

Over a dozen police officers responded, reportedly told that someone at the KFC had climbed the counter and was brandishing a weapon. Authorities briefly cordoned off the restaurant entrance, preventing people from leaving. IShowSpeed apologized to customers for the disruption but asked them to remain inside while police ensured everyone`s safety and concluded their investigation.

The streamer then approached an officer, explaining he was a popular streamer broadcasting live, and even showed his high-viewer count stream on his phone. IShowSpeed admitted to climbing the counter, describing it as a signature move he does when visiting restaurants with good food. The officer appeared momentarily confused upon hearing this but ultimately understood the situation, and the incident was resolved.

This isn`t IShowSpeed`s first experience with swatting; he was also targeted during an `in real life` (IRL) street stream. The streamer stated that these types of incidents are decreasing his desire to broadcast live from public places in the United States.
