Eddie Craven, the CEO of Kick, has appealed to Twitch administration to unblock his account. He announced this request on X (formerly Twitter).
Craven was permanently banned from Twitch in September 2021 for streaming gambling content. He mentioned that he believes he might be the first and only person banned for this reason, as the casino section still exists on the Amazon-owned platform, and many channels broadcast content in this category.
The Kick executive stated that he needs access to his Twitch account to test a new feature on his own platform. A few days prior, Kick partners received the option to simultaneously stream on other streaming services, but their ad revenue would be reduced by up to 50% in such cases.
