Killzone Composer Believes in Remaster Success

Joris de Man, the composer known for his work on the Killzone and Horizon series, is confident that remasters of the original Killzone trilogy could be successful. He shared this opinion in an interview.

According to de Man, he is aware of gamer interest and believes in the potential success of re-releasing the old games in the series. He added that he has no influence over Guerrilla Games and can only hope that the series will be revived in the future. De Man emphasized his doubt that a new Killzone game would be able to repeat the success of past installments, making remasters seem like a more promising venture to him.

The last game in the Killzone series was released in 2013. Killzone: Shadow Fall was a PlayStation 4 exclusive and received mixed reviews, with criticism mainly directed at the weak plot and boring characters. Previously, Guerrilla Games art director Roy Postma stated that the studio has no plans to return to the series.
