Aurora Gaming`s midlaner, Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov, has shared his reflections on their win against BetBoom Team during the PGL Wallachia Season 4 Dota 2 playoffs.
Following their 2-0 series victory, kiyotaka described the matches as “interesting” though “not without mistakes.” He conveyed that Aurora approached the series with confidence in their ability to win, citing their previous close encounters with BetBoom Team and the valuable lessons they had learned, which he felt “paid off.”
According to kiyotaka, the second game felt somewhat easier. He mentioned that once BetBoom Team picked Night Stalker, Aurora had a general understanding that the game would be under their control. They were confident that even if they encountered initial setbacks, they possessed the capability to turn the tide and come back in the later stages. However, he noted that ultimately, a comeback wasn`t required as they secured a deserved victory. Kiyotaka concluded his message by thanking the fans for their support and urged them to continue following Aurora throughout the rest of the tournament, promising the team would strive to keep providing exciting moments.
Aurora and BetBoom Team faced each other in the opening round of the upper bracket. Zyryanov`s team emerged victorious in the best-of-3 contest, sending their opponents to the lower bracket. Aurora`s next challenge will be against PARIVISION. Their match is scheduled to take place on April 25th at 19:00 MSK.
