Team Spirit`s Dota 2 manager, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, has shared his assessment of the new Virtus.pro roster featuring Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin. He expressed his views on Telegram.
Virtus Pro, so much meaning in these words for the hearts of veteran fans.
VP has returned with some kind of brilliant master plan.
1. They bought the Chimera roster, but part of the payment was in the form of an unnecessary VP asset, I`m talking about the coach, just like VP did when they took RodjER from NaVi and gave Lil.
2. The Virtus Pro roster now has EPT points.
3. VP now has a foundation in the form of Vangey and Lorenof, who join the team as young and ready players.
4. Both players on the bench (Squadix, Noticed) are easily sellable, as these positions are scarce, and there are interested parties in the market.
5. Playing in the MENA region is a clever abuse of tournament organizer rules.
In VP`s place, I would hold onto Noticed until there is complete clarity with Daxak, so as not to then buy out some offlaner for the price of a new Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Daxak +rep for continuing to break walls. But he could be flying in a sombrero on a BetRider stream for triple the price.
Many have asked who the coach is, I think G is with the guys. He generally goes hand in hand with TA2000 and Daxak in his career.
If we reason without emotions, then of course this transfer also raises questions.
– Chimera officially disbanded, so in essence, it`s a signed stack with problems.
– This is the same roster that won only 1 out of 2 qualifications in the MENA region, and qualifications for PGL tournaments they will have to play in Western Europe.
– Lack of a captain, except for Daxak.
The announcement of the new Virtus.pro roster took place on March 28th. In addition to Daxak, the roster includes three other former Chimera Esports players, as well as Vladislav “Rein” Kosygin from One Move.
