In a crossover event that blends the worlds of digital content creation, boxing, and professional wrestling, popular YouTuber and streamer KSI is set to make his official debut in the virtual squared circle. It has been confirmed that KSI will be a playable character in the next downloadable content pack for the video game, WWE 2K25.
The news of KSI`s inclusion wasn`t delivered through a grand, choreographed WWE segment or a dedicated trailer, but rather came to light via a promotional image on the Nintendo eShop for the newly announced WWE 2K25 release on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. A rather understated reveal for such a prominent online personality, perhaps, but confirmed nonetheless.
KSI will be featured in the upcoming “Fearless Pack” DLC for WWE 2K25. This pack is slated for release on July 23, 2025, bringing a diverse array of talent into the game. Alongside KSI, players will also gain access to wrestling figures spanning different eras and styles, including the controversial ECW icon New Jack, Lucha Libre sensation Penta El Zero Miedo, current TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, and joshi legend Bull Nakano. A truly eclectic mix, positioning KSI among some genuine pioneers and modern greats.
While this marks his first official appearance *as a character* in a WWE video game, KSI is not entirely unfamiliar with WWE programming. Fans may recall his memorable (and physically unfortunate) cameo appearances. At WrestleMania 39 in 2023, KSI, famously disguised within a giant Prime energy drink bottle costume, attempted to interfere in fellow content creator Logan Paul`s match against Seth Rollins. His intervention did not go as planned, resulting in Rollins delivering a devastating frog splash that sent the disguised KSI crashing through an announcer`s table. A baptism by broken wood, if you will.
His subsequent appearance on SmackDown alongside Logan Paul last year proved equally hazardous. During a segment, KSI found himself on the receiving end of an `RKO Outta Nowhere` courtesy of Randy Orton. One might deduce that stepping into a WWE ring, even just for a cameo, has historically proven quite painful for Mr. Olajide Olatunji. Perhaps his virtual avatar will fare better against the roster`s heavy hitters than his real-life body did against furniture and finishing moves.
The addition of KSI is another significant step in WWE`s ongoing effort to bridge the gap between professional wrestling and mainstream internet culture. Players will soon have the opportunity to pit the YouTube star against legends, current champions, and perhaps even recreate his past ringside mishaps within the game engine. Mark your calendars for July 23rd to add this unique crossover star to your WWE 2K25 roster.
