Lionsgate has unveiled a deleted scene from the upcoming film “Ballerina”. The clip was shared on YouTube.
The events of “Ballerina” are set after the conclusion of “John Wick: Chapter 3”. The movie centers on Eva Macarro, also known by the codename Kikimora. Orphaned at a young age, she is recruited into the Ruska Roma, a Russian Romani criminal syndicate. Having been trained in the same lethal traditions as John Wick, the protagonist embarks on a mission of vengeance to eliminate those responsible for her family`s murder.
The deleted scene features John Wick receiving orders to kill Eva Macarro. It also provides insight into his past, revealing that he knew the heroine`s father.
“Ballerina” is scheduled for release in theaters on June 6, 2025. Ana de Armas (“Knives Out,” “Blade Runner 2049”) stars in the lead role, supported by a cast including Keanu Reeves, Lance Reddick, and Norman Reedus.
