Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, the talented Russian AWPer, is reportedly on the verge of joining Team Falcons in a move that could become the most expensive transfer in Counter-Strike history. According to French insider Guillaume “neL” Canelo, citing his sources, the deal is expected to be finalized soon, before the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
NeL`s sources indicate a swift resolution, stating that m0NESY has already signed with Falcons and will integrate into the team in the coming weeks, well in advance of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. He is expected to replace degster in the lineup. Falcons` persistent interest in m0NESY appears to have culminated in a multi-million dollar agreement, potentially marking a record-breaking transfer fee in the history of Counter-Strike.
As of now, m0NESY is still officially contracted with G2 Esports, an organization he has represented since January 2022. Previous rumors linked Osipov`s move to Falcons alongside Nikola “NiKo” Kovac. However, at that time, only the transfer of the Bosnian rifler to Falcons materialized.
