It`s complete rubbish, not a masterpiece.
P.S. The stream was not a recording; I just closed the chat because of spam like `drop the game`. That`s tiresome. I wanted to play for as long as my interest held out. I was genuinely curious to understand what all the hype was about. It turned out to be just another `soy` JRPG. Forget it. It`s absolute garbage. Why on earth is this genre even making a comeback? People in Russia definitely shouldn`t be playing this. Or maybe I just didn`t understand something.
I probably need to play it for another 10-12 hours; maybe then I`ll finally grasp the appeal.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was released on April 24, 2025. The game is available on PC through the Steam digital store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles. Despite Maddyson`s criticism, the title holds a user score of 9.7 out of 10 on Metacritic.
