Dota 2 caster Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov has shared his thoughts regarding Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev`s transition to inactive status. Kuzminov expressed his views on the matter via his Telegram channel.

On April 28, the esports organization AVULUS announced that SoNNeikO was departing from their active Dota 2 roster. Butaev had been part of the collective since August 2024. Under his leadership, the team participated in several significant championships, including PGL Wallachia 2024 Season 2, ESL One Bangkok 2024, ESL One Raleigh 2025, among others. Notably, the player missed the recent PGL Wallachia Season 4 tournament due to visa issues.
