Engin “MAJ3R” Kupeli, the captain of Eternal Fire`s Counter-Strike 2 team, has expressed his belief that the team is capable of winning a major tournament in 2025. He shared his optimistic outlook in a statement.
“I am quite sure that we will gain significant experience on big stages, and in the future, we will be able to prove ourselves in the playoffs. Step by step. Everything takes time. This year, we will lift a trophy. I truly believe in this,” MAJ3R stated.
At the recent BLAST Open Lisbon 2025, Eternal Fire faced MOUZ in the semi-finals and were defeated with a 0-2 score (11-13 on Nuke and 10-13 on Dust2). Eternal Fire concluded their participation in the tournament, securing a 3rd-4th place finish.
BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 took place from March 19th to 30th. Teams competed for a total prize pool of $400,000.
