The release date for the American football simulator Maximum Football on PlayStation 5 consoles has been announced. According to Maximum Entertainment, the release on PS5 is set for June 17, 2025.
On the same day, June 17, 2025, the game will also exit Early Access on PC and Xbox Series X|S platforms, where it was already available to players. Thus, Version 1.0 will become available simultaneously on all announced platforms.
Studio head Anth Rodgers commented on this event: “We are excited to invite even more players to the virtual field and continue shaping the future of football simulators together with the community.” The developers emphasized that they will continue to listen to player feedback for further balancing and development of the game, promising numerous updates in the future.
Among the features announced earlier and planned for implementation this year are various weather effects that will influence gameplay. Update 1.0 will pave the way for this by adding cosmetic weather phenomena such as rain and snow. New options for customizing stadium appearance are also planned for this major patch.
The full release of Maximum Football will make this season busy for fans of American football simulators, as EA`s games, College Football 26 (July 10) and Madden NFL 26 (August 14), are also set to release soon.
