Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled Freyja, the latest character to join the Overwatch 2 roster, showcasing her gameplay and backstory in a new video.
Freyja is a Danish bounty hunter equipped with a crossbow that fires explosive arrows. She can also leap into the air and perform short bursts of movement while falling. Her ultimate ability is a bola that immobilizes and pulls enemies caught in its radius towards the center.
Freyja is scheduled to arrive in Overwatch 2 with Season 16, set to launch on April 22nd. Players can test out the new hero in a trial period from March 22nd to 24th.
