MieRo Comments on the High Volume of Dota 2 Professional Tournaments

Matvey “MieRo” Vasyunin, the offlaner for the BetBoom Team Dota 2 roster, recently shared his thoughts on the demanding schedule of professional competitions. He expressed his viewpoint on his personal Telegram channel.

Greetings from the offlane!

Last week I was in Bucharest, and at the beginning of the month, I even found myself in America. At this pace, it feels like time is both infinite and simultaneously flying by. There are truly a lot of tournaments right now, and that`s something to be genuinely happy about!

I know that the topic of tournament oversaturation is frequently discussed in Dota 2 lately, primarily in a negative context. However, for me personally, this only serves to motivate me even more to train, to innovate, and to refine certain aspects of my game. I`m glad that thanks to this, I have the opportunity to see the world, interact with people from different corners of the planet, learn about various cultures, connect with fans, and simply touch trees. I believe that over time, everyone will get accustomed to this, and it will become the norm.

Once again, I want to express my gratitude to all the BetBoom Team fans for their support in every part of the world we visit. With you, it feels more like home and provides a sense of calm. Hugs.

As of early 2025, seven Tier 1 tournaments have already been held, five of which were LAN events. BetBoom Team has competed in six of these, winning one title.

Previously, streamer and former professional player Andrey “Dread” Golubev also commented on the subject of tournament oversaturation in Dota 2.
