MieRo’s Lighthearted Comment on Kiyotaka’s Team Exit

Matvey `MieRo` Vasyunin, the offlaner for BetBoom Team Dota 2, jokingly commented on the frequent deaths of team members from the Tormentor in Dota 2. During a discussion on the team`s YouTube channel, he quipped that this issue was connected to the departure of Gleb `kiyotaka` Zyryanov from the team.

MieRo mentioned, “We don`t really have an initiation ritual as such. [Pure~: `No, but we`ve decided now that there is`]. Actually, there is: to die from the Tormentor and eat stewed beef cooked by our chef — that`s our team initiation.”

In response to a question about whether kiyotaka`s failure to die from the Tormentor was related to him now playing for a different team, MieRo jokingly replied, “Yes, he didn`t die from the Tormentor, and that`s why we kicked him.” [Pure~: `Didn`t pass the initiation ritual?`] “Yes. Gleb is a great guy, no negativity, only positive vibes towards such a person. But he didn`t die from the Tormentor, while Danil [gpK~] on Sniper did mess up once, so he stayed on the team.”

Kiyotaka had been with BetBoom Team since September 2024, but in January 2025, he was replaced by Danil `gpK~` Skutin. As of this article`s publication, Zyryanov is representing Aurora Gaming.
