In just the first 24 hours after its premiere, the Minecraft movie grossed $58 million worldwide, including advance ticket sales. This marks the best opening for any film released in 2025 so far. Analysts predict that the movie could earn over $135 million during its opening weekend, potentially surpassing the record set by “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” which earned $146 million in its first three days.
