Miposhka Discusses Handshake Incident at ESL One Raleigh 2025 Grand Final

Team Spirit`s Dota 2 captain, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, briefly commented on their defeat against PARIVISION in the ESL One Raleigh 2025 grand final. The esports player also shed light on the handshake incident involving Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov.

Miposhka explained the situation: “I can`t understand why no one can properly explain this handshake situation, so I`ll do it myself. When we first came onto the stage, I walked out one-on-one with Alan [Satanic] (laughs). We shook hands then, and I thought that was it, we`d sit down. But then I go back to my team and see that we were supposed to shake hands again. And it was at that moment that Alan didn`t come to shake hands again. And I didn`t really understand either. I was like, `Okay, whatever.` But after the game, they all came over, and we all shook hands calmly. So there`s nothing to worry about, I don`t know.”

Regarding the grand final, Miposhka added, “There`s not much to say about the final. The opponents were just better prepared. A vlog will be released soon, I think. I`ll talk about the final there. We`ve already arrived at PGL Wallachia Season 4. Well, a few days ago. We are preparing, playing, and training. So watch and cheer for us. The next tournament is coming soon.”

The ESL One Raleigh 2025 grand final took place on April 13th. Team Spirit lost to PARIVISION with a score of 1:3.

ESL One Raleigh 2025 was held in the USA from April 7th to 13th. 12 teams competed in the tournament. The event had a prize pool of one million dollars and 27,920 ESL Pro Tour points.
