Following FURIA Esports` CS2 match against Team Spirit at PGL Astana 2025, player Danil “molodoy” Golubenko shared his perspective. He stated he maintains self-confidence regardless of the opponent and aims to demonstrate his capabilities in upcoming tournaments. Molodoy conveyed these thoughts during the official tournament broadcast.
The opponent [Team Spirit] was not an easy one, but everyone is beatable, and you must always strive for improvement. I believe this isn`t our final tournament. I will still showcase what I`m capable of.
I am always confident because I possess that kind of mental fortitude. It makes no difference to me who I play against: ZywOo, s1mple, or donk. There`s no significant difference for me. I consistently try to dictate my playstyle and aim to be the best on the server.
The match between FURIA and Spirit was played on the evening of May 17th. Spirit secured a 2-1 victory, with map scores being 13:7 on Train (FURIA`s win), 9:13 on Nuke, and 7:13 on Mirage. The Spirit squad, featuring Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, advanced to the tournament final to compete against Astralis.
PGL Astana 2025 is being held in Kazakhstan from May 10th to 18th, featuring teams competing for a total prize pool of $625,000.
