FURIA Esports player Danil `molodoy` Golubev shared his experience of being welcomed by Gabriel `FalleN` Toledo after joining the team. He shared these memories in an interview on the AMKAL ESPORTS YouTube channel.
[Question: `I read somewhere that you said FalleN is like a father to you. Tell us about your communication, how often do you talk?`] Always. So, when I arrived in Serbia, he was the only player from the team with me at the bootcamp. The coach was there too, but among the players, it was just him. I think it was intentional, to show his warmth towards me. First of all, I`m very happy to have met him. Secondly, he welcomed me so well and truly treated me like a son, because it`s clear he`s a person with significant age and great experience.
The coolest thing is that he didn`t impose any specific priorities. He said: `Just feel it out – enjoy yourself, just be yourself, I don`t need anything more from you.` [Question: `Did he ever try to push you or anything?`] No, never at all. It`s immediately clear he`s an experienced person, knows how to treat young players, and I`m happy about that.
Molodoy joined FURIA on April 11th. With him, the team qualified for PGL Astana 2025. At the time of publishing, Golubev`s team is competing against Aurora Gaming in a match for third place.
