NBA 2K25 Season 7 is now live, introducing new content across all game modes. The main highlight of this update is New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, recently named Clutch Player of the Year, a title fittingly underscored by his game-winning three-pointer in the Knicks` playoff series against the Pistons.
Players can acquire a Dark Matter version of Brunson upon reaching Level 18 this season. This also grants a Diamond Josh Hart card. These two players form a `Dynamic Duo`, boosting each other`s statistics when played together, which raises their overall rating to 99.
Additional historical Knicks legends are available as rewards. Amar’e Stoudemire can be earned as a Dark Matter card at Level 20, and a 100 OVR item for Willis Reed is a reward for reaching Level 30.
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell is also obtainable as a Pink Diamond card capable of evolving. Players need to score 71 points in a single match with him to upgrade him to a 99 OVR Dark Matter version. Additionally, reaching Level 30 rewards players with an Invincible edition of Paul George.
Pro Pass owners for Season 7 automatically receive a 100 OVR Zion Williamson card upon purchase.
As is typical with new seasons, Season 7 also includes numerous cosmetic items for MyCareer, The City, and The W game modes.
