Neil Druckmann Helped Intergalactic: The Heretic Star Cope with Online Hate

Actress Tati Gabrielle, known for roles in “You” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” is set to star in the upcoming game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. She recently opened up about her personal experience with online trolling and harassment.

Gabrielle shared that Naughty Dog Game Director Neil Druckmann provided significant support in helping her deal with the negativity. According to her, Druckmann put her through a kind of “bootcamp,” where she learned about the experiences of other Naughty Dog actors who had also faced online harassment.

I received a lot of love, but there was also a lot of hate because I`m a woman, because of my skin color, because of my shaved head – all these things that I didn`t even notice initially. I`m not really aware of social media trends. But when I did find out, Neil said: `Ignore it. Whatever it is, we will create something beautiful together. We will create something we will be proud of.`

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is a new original franchise from Naughty Dog, completely unrelated to the studio`s previous works. The game is set thousands of years in the future, where the protagonist, Jordan A. Moon, finds herself stranded on the remote planet Sempiria, which lost contact many years ago. As of the time of this writing, there is no approximate release window for the game. It is confirmed to be coming to PS5, with no details currently available regarding a release on other platforms.
