Paramount Pictures has revealed a new teaser trailer for the movie «Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning». The video was officially published on YouTube.
«The Final Reckoning» marks the eighth installment in the action-packed «Mission: Impossible» spy film franchise. According to statements from the creators, this film is intended to be the grand finale for the entire series. Interestingly, Tom Cruise, the star of every film in the saga, has reportedly discussed who might succeed him in the lead role. Rumors circulating suggest that Cruise envisions Glen Powell taking over. The two actors previously collaborated on the successful film «Top Gun: Maverick», although Powell has not appeared in any prior «Mission: Impossible» movies.
The premiere of «Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning» is currently set for May 23, 2025. The preceding film in the series was released in July 2023, earning over $570 million at the box office globally. It also received positive reviews, scoring 7.7 out of 10 from users on IMDb and 7.2 out of 10 from visitors to Kinopoisk.
