Dota 2 professional player Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko recently shared his thoughts on whether he plans to change his in-game nickname again. The carry for Aurora Gaming discussed the topic in a new video published on the team`s official YouTube channel.
Question: `When will Nightfall change his nickname?`
I already changed my nickname quite impulsively before the last `Int` [The International] to Saika, but that wasn`t the best idea. I think probably never again.
Early in his Dota 2 career, Grigorenko competed under the nickname epileptick1d. In January 2021, he adopted the alias Nightfall. He briefly switched to Saika in July 2024 but reverted to the Nightfall tag just four months later. The Russian carry continues to use the Nightfall nickname as of the time of this publication.
