Nioh 3 Announced, PS5 Demo Available Now

Team Ninja studio has officially announced Nioh 3, the highly anticipated continuation of their popular souls-like action series. The reveal came with a debut trailer shown during the recent State of Play presentation.

Expanding on the core gameplay, Nioh 3 will introduce a new playable class: the Ninja, featuring a distinct set of combat abilities separate from the traditional Samurai. Players can also look forward to exploring expansive, multi-layered open-world environments in this new installment. A demo version allowing players to experience the gameplay is currently available on PlayStation 5, though it is only accessible until June 18th.

The series began with the original Nioh in 2017, followed by its sequel released in 2020. Both titles initially launched as timed PlayStation exclusives before being ported to PC. Nioh 3 is currently slated for release in early 2026, with a precise launch date yet to be confirmed.
