PARIVISION`s midlaner Vladimir No[o]ne commented on the results of the group stage draw for BLAST Slam III in Dota 2. He shared his thoughts on the team distribution on his personal Telegram channel.
No[o]ne acknowledged his team was placed in a challenging group, stressing that all teams in the tournament are strong, with few perceived weak opponents. He felt their specific group appeared particularly difficult.
He found it hard to pinpoint favorites, noting the best-of-one (BO1) format makes predictions difficult. While mentioning teams like Spirit (currently in good form) and Aurora as potential contenders, he emphasized that in BO1 matches, outcomes significantly depend on draft choices, luck, and random factors, making it challenging to predict the top 1, 2, and 3 spots in the group. No[o]ne expressed a hope that PARIVISION would avoid finishing last in the group, a result he mentioned had occurred in previous BLAST Slam iterations, and concluded by reiterating the strength of their opponents and the need for significant effort.
BLAST Slam III will take place from May 6 to 11 in a studio format in Copenhagen, Denmark. Participants will compete for a prize pool of $1 million.
