Official Dungeons & Dragons miniatures featuring companions from Baldur`s Gate 3 have been released by Icons of the Realms. The set includes seven characters and is available for $50. However, initial feedback indicates that the quality of the miniatures is causing confusion and disappointment rather than excitement among fans.
The models are pre-painted figures, but the quality of the paint application has become the primary target of criticism. Buyers have described the characters as looking “like they were hosed down with paint,” expressing significant dissatisfaction with the finish.
Fans have voiced their disappointment across social media platforms, particularly noting that this comes for what is arguably the most successful Dungeons & Dragons video game adaptation to date. Given that Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast position Baldur`s Gate 3 as a flagship title, many find this apparent lack of attention to merchandise quality surprising.
