PaiN Gaming to Start PGL Astana 2025 with Coach Due to Roster Issue

PaiN Gaming`s Counter-Strike 2 player, Franco “dgt” Cabrera, will miss the initial days of PGL Astana 2025. The esports organization announced this via a post on social media platform X.

Coach Henrique “rikz” Vacu will fill in for dgt. Cabrera`s absence is attributed to visa complications, and he is anticipated to join the team on May 12.

This situation is reminiscent of a previous instance where G2 Esports player Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač was temporarily replaced by coach Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas at a tournament due to similar travel delays.

PGL Astana 2025 is scheduled to take place in Kazakhstan from May 10 to May 18. Sixteen teams will compete for a substantial prize pool of $1.25 million, half of which will be distributed among the participating organizations.
