Panto Discusses Aurora’s Opening Day at BLAST Slam III

Aurora Gaming`s support player, Nikita “Panto” Balaganin, has shared his insights following the conclusion of the first day of the BLAST Slam III Dota 2 tournament. He posted his reflections on his Telegram channel, discussing the team`s performance during the initial group stage matches.

Well, here are the results of the first game day:

We really should have closed out the game against PARIVISION; it`s frustrating to lose a game we were significantly ahead in. We felt we played much better.

In the second match [against Spirit], after that mid feed at minute 6 and losing the bounty rune at minute 7, the game became very difficult. We tried to find a way back into it, but it was hard to find opportunities.

In the third game [against Gladiators], I think our draft was weaker. Our morale was a bit low after two frustrating losses, but we found the strength to regroup and win, which secured our 4th place finish in the group. 😎

The opening day of BLAST Slam III took place on May 6th, featuring all initial group stage matches played in a best-of-1 format. Aurora Gaming finished fourth in Group A.

Balaganin`s team secured a crucial win against Team Falcons but faced defeats against PARIVISION, Team Spirit, and Gaimin Gladiators. This result placed them fourth in their group.

As a result of their group stage performance, Aurora has qualified for the playoffs and will begin their run in the second round.

The BLAST Slam III tournament is being held in Denmark from May 6th to 11th, featuring a substantial $1 million prize pool contested by participating teams.
