Aurora Gaming player Nikita Panto Balaganin shared his reflections on the team`s performance during the group stage of PGL Wallachia Season 5 in Dota 2. He discussed their run in a recent team vlog from the tournament.
“We successfully advanced to the playoffs – which is, of course, fantastic… Basically, all the series felt easy, except for the match against Gladiators. I`m not sure why, but things always feel shaky for us against them. We`ve only managed to win one match out of the last three encounters [against Gladiators] across all tournaments, but we will try to improve in the future, and if we meet them in the playoffs, we will definitely seek revenge.”
PGL Wallachia Season 5 is currently taking place from June 21 to 29 in Bucharest, Romania. Sixteen teams are competing for a million-dollar prize pool. During the group stage, Aurora secured victories against OG, Xtreme Gaming, and Tundra Esports, but faced a defeat against Gaimin Gladiators. In the first round of the playoffs, Panto and his team are scheduled to compete against Team Liquid.
