Streamer Vitalii “Papich” Tsal recently compared the games Dota 2 and PUBG, sharing his critical perspective during a personal live stream.
Papich`s Comments on PUBG`s State
“Yes, I heard my garage in PUBG is called `Papich`s garage`. Do you think I think about it before bed or feel proud? I don`t care at all, because PUBG has rolled downhill.”
“I was shown a picture, there`s some bumblebee set for characters. And this kind of nonsense has been happening in PUBG for the last four or five years. They`re making some garbage for kids, Fortnite`s success clearly bothered the developers for a long time. It was once a great game, in a past life.”
“Conceptually, the same story happened with PUBG as with Dota 2, by the way. Exactly the same. Remember when at some point in Dota 2 ugly sets started being released that didn`t fit the game at all? The same story happened with PUBG; they started releasing stuff for kids. This was around the time PUBG became very popular on mobile phones. In 2019 or 2020, PUBG was very popular on `mobiles`.”
