Professional Counter-Strike 2 player Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy has successfully obtained his US visa. Despite the approval, he announced he will not be able to compete at IEM Dallas 2025, where he was scheduled to play as a stand-in for team BCGame. Perfecto indicated that while his visa was approved, it came too late for him to make the necessary travel arrangements for the Dallas event.
However, Perfecto confirmed he will attend the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. He is listed as a substitute player for Team Falcons for the upcoming Major and is available to step into the starting roster if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
This situation follows a similar concern raised by Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, a stand-in for FaZe Clan, who also initially indicated potential visa issues for IEM Dallas 2025. FaZe Clan later clarified that s1mple had successfully secured his US visa and would be able to attend the tournament.
IEM Dallas 2025 is set to take place from May 19 to 25 in Dallas, Texas, USA. The tournament will feature 16 teams competing for a total prize pool of $300,000.
