According to Harumi:

“Rumors about 9Pandas have been circulating every month since December, so we should expect some official information.
But, truth be told, the CEO of Pandas, Julia, is already working on some other project, and not making it to the Major significantly worsens the situation.
In short, the information has some weight, but anyway, we should wait for full information.”

OverDrive later clarified that 9Pandas might remain in the esports scene if they manage to find a new main sponsor.

OverDrive stated:

“To be more precise, the main sponsor left 9Pandas, and now it`s either a new sponsor or goodbye.”

9Pandas was established in April 2022. Several months later, the club signed a Counter-Strike roster, and in 2023, they began cooperation with a Dota 2 roster. However, at the time of this report, the organization does not have a team in the Dota 2 discipline.
