Ppd Mulls Dota 2 Pro Scene Return on April Fools’ Day

33-year-old Peter “ppd” Dager, champion of The International 2015, announced on social media X that he might consider returning to the professional Dota 2 scene. The former esports player made the post on April 1st and then jokingly agreed to a reader`s ironic suggestion to join OG.

Ppd has competed on the professional Dota 2 scene from 2013 to 2022. In the past, he played for Evil Geniuses, with whom he won The International 2015 and a number of other major tournaments, as well as OpTic Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas. In addition, the American player held the position of CEO of EG and coached Alliance.

Nouns, where ppd is the Chief Operating Officer, also left the competitive Dota 2 scene. The organization released its Dota 2 roster in November 2024 after a year of collaboration with the roster led by Tal “Fly” Aizik.
