Professional Dota 2 player Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev has revealed the amount of compensation he received for participating in a Head & Shoulders advertisement back in 2018. The details emerged during a livestream of the esports athlete.
Fan Question: “Did you get paid a lot for the Head & Shoulders ad?”
RAMZES666: Virtus.pro took a significant portion due to my contract. But it was still a good amount. I actually wanted to be in that commercial myself.
Fan Question: “More than a million rubles?”
RAMZES666: Definitely. Let`s just say it was less than ₽2.5 million, but more than ₽1 million. Somewhere in that range.
Back then, the esports industry contracts were a bit different. There wasn`t as much media presence. I think only Dendi had a strong media presence back then. I didn`t have much media presence, but Alexey `Solo` Berezin did.
In the CIS region, I consider Dendi and Solo the most media-savvy guys in Dota. Now you can add Nix and dyrachyo. I`m there too, and NS, but let`s leave that out. Primarily, it`s Dendi and Solo. Back in the day, Dread also stood out.
Previously, RAMZES666 stated his willingness to get a buzzcut if BetBoom Team becomes champion of PGL Wallachia Season 4. More details about this are available in a separate article.
