The premiere of the thriller “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” is scheduled for April 10, 2026.
The original film “Ready or Not” told the story of a young woman who married into a wealthy, eccentric family. On her wedding night, a secret is revealed: to be accepted into the family, she must survive a deadly game of hide-and-seek where her new husband and his relatives are the hunters. Samara Weaving starred in the first movie. The sequel`s cast will include Kathryn Newton, Elijah Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and David Cronenberg.
The first “Ready or Not” film was released in 2019. The movie was well-received by audiences, earning positive ratings on popular film platforms. It also became a box office success: with a production budget of only $6 million, it grossed over $57 million worldwide.
