Record-Breaking 48-Round Map Played in Tier-1 Valorant

On April 23, the teams BBL Esports and FUT Esports competed in the longest map ever recorded in the history of official tier-1 Valorant matches. The game, played on the map Ascent during the Champions Tour 2025: EMEA Stage 1, required an unprecedented 48 rounds for the roster led by Elias `Jamppi` Olkkonen to claim victory.

In the overall series at the Valorant Champions Tour 2025: EMEA Stage 1, BBL Esports defeated FUT Esports with a final score of 2:0. The scores for the individual maps were a staggering 25:23 on Ascent and a closer 13:11 on Icebox. Following this intense match, Olkkonen`s team secured their fourth win of the tournament, placing them in first position in Group Omega.

The Champions Tour 2025: EMEA Stage 1 is currently being held in Berlin at the Riot Games Arena, running from March 26 through May 19. Competing teams are vying for a total prize pool of $250,000 and three coveted qualification spots for VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025.
