Insider Dusk Golem has reportedly shared new details regarding the upcoming game, believed to be titled Resident Evil: Requiem. According to the leak, players will take control of two main characters. One is the familiar fan-favorite, Leon S. Kennedy, while the second is a new heroine named Grace Ashcroft, said to be the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from Resident Evil: Outbreak. The narrative is set to unfold in a devastated Raccoon City, following its destruction by a nuclear strike.
While the game was officially announced during Summer Game Fest, developers have highlighted a significant departure in tone and atmosphere compared to previous installments. The emphasis is now placed on delivering “high-stakes cinematic action.”
Resident Evil: Requiem is currently scheduled for release on February 27, 2026. It is expected to be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
