On the evening of March 31st, Russian users experienced disruptions accessing several websites and online applications. Platforms including Twitch and Steam were affected, along with other online services.
Steam users reported issues ranging from login problems and high ping to complete server disconnections. Twitch viewers reported stream loading interruptions, with the problem affecting users across various internet providers. Complaints regarding the accessibility of these sites and platforms are still being reported.
This is not the first instance of widespread internet outages in Russia in early 2025. A similar event occurred in January.
