Ryze Doubts NAVI’s Chances at the Major

Esports content creator Evgeny `Ryze` Ryze recently discussed Natus Vincere`s early exit from PGL Astana 2025 in Counter-Strike 2 and expressed his doubts about their potential success at the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. He shared his opinions in a YouTube video.

It`s disappointing how the new NAVI roster has transformed b1t from a top rookie and headshot specialist into an inconsistent player. I hope he considers leaving after the Major, especially after performances like 3/14 against Astralis on Ancient – nobody enjoys struggling like that. It seems his roles might not be suited to him. However, HooXi was a pleasant surprise; his break seems to have reignited his form. Regarding NAVI`s prospects at the Major, I believe they can reach the playoffs. Their realistic ceiling appears to be the quarterfinals. With some luck or favorable matchups, they might scrape into the semifinals. But in their current state, a tournament victory seems highly unlikely.

NAVI`s run at PGL Astana 2025 ended with a 5th-8th place finish. Following this, the team`s coach, Andrey `B1ad3` Gorodenskiy, described their performance as “weak and unacceptable.”

PGL Astana 2025 took place from May 10-18 in Kazakhstan, featuring a $1.25 million prize pool.
