S1mple Aims for Better Performance with FaZe Compared to Falcons

CS2 professional player Oleksandr `s1mple` Kostyliev stated his intention to perform better with FaZe Clan than he did previously with Team Falcons. He shared his mindset regarding upcoming tournaments with the new team during an interview on Roman Mokrivskiy`s stream.

Mokrivskiy: `Sasha, are you in shape?` Yes, now I am. Guys, I`m actually very happy. I`ll tell you this. As if, you know, — I also had my watch stolen, — when life takes something away, it gives back double immediately. I am very happy that I got another opportunity to play. And this time I won`t fail like I failed at the last Major. This time I will do even more.

On May 5th, FaZe Clan announced that Håvard `broky` Saukants would be replaced by s1mple. Kostyliev remains under contract with Natus Vincere; his move to the American club is on a loan basis, specifically for IEM Dallas 2025 and BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

In autumn 2023, s1mple went inactive, stepping away from Natus Vincere`s active roster. In 2024, he played for Team Falcons on loan in several tournaments, including the RMR qualifier for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024; however, the team failed to qualify for the Major.
