In the group stage opener, FaZe Clan faced Team Liquid. Team Liquid proved stronger, winning the series 2-0. Following this loss, FaZe is scheduled to play an elimination match in the next round.
S1mple is representing FaZe at IEM Dallas 2025 as a stand-in. The team is competing with two temporary replacements: in addition to Kostyliev, Felipe “skullz” Medeiros is standing in for Håvard “rain” Nygaard, who is with his wife awaiting the birth of their child.
