S1mple Facing Potential Visa Issues Ahead of IEM Dallas 2025

CS2 sniper Oleksandr `s1mple` Kostyliev, who is scheduled to play for FaZe Clan as a stand-in at the IEM Dallas 2025 tournament, initially reported potential difficulties obtaining a visa for travel to the USA.

The player wrote in his Telegram channel: “Looks like I didn`t get the visa either…”. S1mple did not specify if he would have another chance to process the documents later and join the team. Representatives of FaZe Clan had not commented on the situation at that time. Previously, Ilya `Perfecto` Zalutskiy also faced similar issues with a US visa.

However, later on May 16, Kostyliev stated in a Twitch chat that his previous message about visa difficulties was a joke. A screenshot of this message was published on the CS2NEWS Telegram channel.

IEM Dallas 2025 is set to take place from May 19 to 25 in Dallas, USA. Sixteen teams will compete in the tournament for a prize pool of $300,000.
