FaZe Clan CS2 player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev shared his thoughts on his teammate Håvard “rain” Nygaard. In a video on the team`s YouTube channel, the esports athlete recalled what it was like playing against rain and also discussed his current view of him as a teammate.
“I remember when we [NAVI] played against rain [at PGL Major Antwerp 2022]. He hit unbelievable shots. He was a headshot machine.”
S1mple also spoke about playing with rain as a teammate, offering high praise.
“He`s a Norwegian god. He`s too big, too strong. And yet he`s very calm. He brings confidence to the team.”
Rain has been a long-standing member of FaZe Clan`s CS division since its establishment in 2016. During his time with the team, they have achieved victory in numerous tier-1 tournaments, including the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. S1mple joined the roster on a loan basis in May 2025. The refreshed FaZe lineup secured a 5th-8th place finish at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
