Esports player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has responded to the criticism following an incident with a delivery courier in Warsaw. The courier had previously shared his experience of being denied a photo with the esports star after delivering food. This story gained significant attention on social media, prompting s1mple to clarify his stance.
In a statement, s1mple said, “Guys, I understand there`s nothing else to discuss because I`m not posting or streaming anything. Don`t get on my back. If I were to tell my side of the story, it would be completely different. But I don`t have the energy to explain to everyone.”
He also added a request for some rest, emphasizing that his refusal was not intended to be malicious.
“Give me a break. Leave me alone. I would never refuse photos to decent people who show respect. Those who know me know that I wouldn`t refuse someone just like that if they behaved respectfully.”
S1mple`s fans have defended the player in the comments, pointing out that public figures also have a right to personal boundaries.
