CS2 star Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, currently serving as a stand-in for FaZe Clan, shared his impressions of playing alongside his teammates. The sniper discussed his experience with Finn “karrigan” Andersen, Håvard “rain” Nygaard, David “frozen” Čerňanský, and Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski during a stream with Dmitriy “hooch” Bogdanov.
According to s1mple: “The guys are totally awesome. Mentally they are stronger than any players I`ve played with. [Addressing a comment about EliGE]: Yes, but then he was different. Before, he would withdraw into himself, but now he reacts differently, celebrates differently – he`s a completely different person after ten years.”
S1mple also commented on which teams he would prefer to face in the playoffs of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
He stated: “Doesn`t matter who [we play]. Vitality and Spirit would be ideal teams to beat, and NAVI, of course.”
S1mple joined FaZe as a stand-in at the beginning of May. With him, the team finished 9th-12th place at IEM Dallas 2025. Kostyliev is also representing FaZe at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, where the roster has successfully advanced to the playoff stage after progressing through the initial phases of the tournament.
