FaZe Clan`s CS2 sniper, Oleksandr `s1mple` Kostyliev, recently discussed his challenges adapting to the new team environment. He also shared insights into the team`s strategy for the upcoming IEM Dallas 2025 tournament.
It`s been a bit difficult for me from the start. I have to learn new positions, new rounds, and review everything before bed so I can just focus on aiming during the game without overthinking. Sometimes I contribute to team calls, and karrigan listens, though he might also tell me to relax. But usually, he agrees with my suggestions.
Our goal for this tournament is to reach the playoffs. If we make it, rain will join us, and we`ll focus on the playoff stage. If not, we`ll plan for a bootcamp and then prepare for the Major.
S1mple joined FaZe Clan on loan from Natus Vincere in early May. He is set to compete with the team at IEM Dallas 2025 and the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, stepping in for their regular sniper, Helvijs `broky` Saukants.
IEM Dallas 2025 is scheduled to run from May 19 to May 25 in the USA, featuring teams competing for a $300,000 prize pool.
