BetBoom Team`s Dota 2 support, Vitaly “Save-” Melnik, shared his thoughts on the victory against Team Spirit in the PGL Wallachia Season 5 playoffs. The player discussed his thoughts in a post-match interview on the English broadcast of the tournament.
I think on the second map we outdrafted them. For example, their Brewmaster didn`t really work against Templar Assassin. We had Lycan in the easiest possible game for that hero. Everything was simple. They tried to counter Puck by picking Dragon Knight, but he still died at the sixth minute when I came mid. So yes, nothing worked out for them at all.
Melnik also commented on the upcoming match against Team Liquid.
There are no special expectations. We haven`t played against Liquid for a long time, haven`t even scrimmed. I think it will be interesting games. INSaNiA is back, they have their full roster, so it will be interesting.
BetBoom Team and Team Spirit faced off in the first round of the PGL Wallachia Season 5 playoffs winners bracket. Melnik`s team proved stronger in the series and advanced to the second round of the upper bracket, while Spirit will continue their tournament run in the lower bracket.
