Lionsgate has removed the horror movie “Saw 11” from its release calendar.
According to reports, development on the film has been stagnant since spring 2024, when screenwriters Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan submitted a draft script. Melton mentioned that he and his partner have not received any updates on the project since May of last year, indicating that progress is halted at the management level.
Lionsgate initially announced the production of “Saw 11” in December 2023. The premiere was originally scheduled for September 27, 2024, but was later moved to September 26, 2025. No further news regarding the project has been released.
